Occupational Hygiene Training

MOLONEY & ASSOCIATES Acoustic & Environmental Consultants have been awarded Approved Training Provider status by the Occupational Hygiene Training Association (OHTA).  The OHTA courses are internationally recognised and facilitate students to develop a career in occupational hygiene and related fields.  The courses can be taken by people who have responsibilities in Occupational Hygiene and Health & Safety and who wish to develop their expertise.

Professionally accredited occupational hygienists may benefit from studying the courses that can count toward credit for continuing professional development (CPD) schemes required to maintain professional accreditation.  The courses are also suitable for people who work in related fields and need a better understanding of occupational hygiene (e.g., doctors, nurses, safety professionals, technicians, engineers and managers).

OHTA Training Courses on Offer

The OHTA courses are designed as 5-day taught programmes that provide practical, hands-on training.  Students are taught in small groups by approved and experienced tutors.  All of the courses are interactive with practical workshops and  exercises.  On completion of each module, students will receive an Award of Successful Course Completion for that module.

OHTA qualifications are rigorously quality assured and are scrutinized by a Qualifications Group with representatives of all the major national examining boards in occupational hygiene.  The examinations for each module are administered by one of these exam boards (currently BOHS).
